- 261 airports statewide, 8 of which are regional (with flight connections to the region's major airports).
Highway
- Georgia has 20,000 miles of interstate, federal, and state highways, and more than 100 motor freight carriers serve the Atlanta area alone.
- Georgia has 35 scheduled carriers, 2,200 intrastate haulers, and 25,000 interstate truckers serving points throughout the state.
- Georgia maintains an advantage to carriers by offering the lowest fuel tax in the United States at 7.5¢/gallon
Rail
- Georgia has the Southeast's most extensive rail system, with 5,000 miles of main and branch-line track.
- CSX and Norfolk Southern Corp. operate approximately 140 daily trains in and out of Atlanta and from points throughout the eastern United States. Piggyback and container train services are available between the Savannah Containerport and Atlanta.
- Norfolk Southern Corp. and CSX Transportation provide intermodal rail service throughout the state.
Sea
